Radiation Map

During the weeks following the March 11 earthquake, I was inundated with questions from friends and family in the United States about radiation levels in Japan. Tired of answering people individually, I created this map and began translating information from the Yomiuri Shimbun each day. The page got picked up by the BBC and NPR, and I was receiving close to 20,000 page views per day for quite a while. This is actually the reason that my website (as you'll see up in the header) is called "Accidentally a Blog."
